Frequently described as one of the finest houses in the area, Pech Guillou is a medieval hunting lodge. It sits in an elevated position offering breathtaking views which have changed little over the centuries. The traditional stone manoir house offers comfortable accommodation. There are seven bedrooms sleeping 12-14 people, a heated swimming pool, a boules court, a games room and a summer kitchen to make outdoor dining easy. Of course the house has full central heating, so it’s ideal for use outside the normal holiday season. Longer-term rentals are also sometimes possible.

Description
Description of the house
The attractive entrance portico opens onto a hallway that leads to the drawing room. This overlooks the swimming pool. Next door is the dining room; both rooms have antique terracotta tiled floors, magnificent fireplaces and large windows looking towards the village of Beauville. Leading off the dining room is a well-equipped kitchen. The seven bedrooms are situated over three floors and sleep a maximum of 14. Three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and one has an en-suite bathroom. There are two rooms with king-size beds, one with a double bed, three twin bedded rooms and one room with bunk beds. The two bedrooms in the pigonnier tower are ideal for teenagers. Perhaps the greatest asset is the summer kitchen and loggia overlooking the swimming pool. This provides the perfect setting for meals, and the area includes a barbecue, wood-fired pizza oven, gas oven and fridge freezer. The sheltered swimming pool (10 x 5 metres) has solar heating and a safety alarm. The pool has an attractively paved surround and a good quality outdoor shower. There are several terraces around the property, providing private spaces for guests to enjoy. You can get more information by visiting our web site at www.pechguillou.com
