Maison Mésange is a characteristic and affordable holiday house (gîte) in the south of France, with 5 double bedrooms and 4 single bedrooms (14 guests max., but extra sleeping capacity for small children). We offer a very affordable holiday for families, groups or individuals in our sunny and peaceful surroundings, well known for it's good wine and old Cathare castles. The house is situated in a small village in the stunning hills of the Corbières, with old vineyards and walking routes. It's in close proximity to the Mediterranean sea. The region offers stunning nature and many cultural spots, including the Cathare castles and cities like Narbonne, Perpignan and Carcasonne. It's not a far trip to Barcelona (by car/train). We also offer several, English spoken excursions, including cultural trips, wine tasting and walks. There are several airports nearby. For tranquility and culture. Bedroom 1 ("Degas"): double bed Bedroom. Bedroom 2 ("Cézanne"): double bed Bedroom with twin beds. Bedroom 3 ("Modi"): double bed Bedroom. Bedrooms 4-7: single Bedrooms. Bedroom 8 ("Pablo"): double bed Bedroom. Bedroom 9 ("Manet"): double bed Bedroom with twin beds. Bedroom 3 ("Modi")has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. "Degas" and "Cézanne" each have their own shower and toilet in the hallway. Upstairs bedrooms share several toilets and showers. Kitchen with cookers, fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven and utilities. It is used by the host for preparations of the evening dinners, but deliberation about use is possible by/for groups.rnSpacious living room with big dining table and launch area with sofa's and fire place. Towels and linen are included. Towels are changed every other day, linen every week or on demand. Downstairs exposition gallery with grand piano. Uphill garden with terraces, that is partly shaded.Meals are cooked by our chef and on request (see our website for more details), just as our (buffet) breakfast.
