AveyronWest is a welcoming family gite in the heart of this wonderful hidden gem of a region, and only 35 minutes from Rodez with its daily flights to the UK. It sleeps 8 and so is big enough for 2 families to holiday together. NEW for 2010:– 2nd bathroom with hydromassage shower — 33′ swimming pool & sun deck, new children’s play area (from July)

Description
Our gite is located in a beautiful 19th century renovated barn, set in 5 acres of meadows and farmland with lovely views. It is completely detached from the our farmhouse (next door) and has its own access, garden and parking.
The gite sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms: One Large family room/quad upstairs, and a twin and a cosy double on the ground floor. The former two have lovely views of the countryside.
The very spacious living areas comprise a kitchen diner with dishwasher and gas cooker and two under-counter fridges with ice-boxes. The dining area (left) includes a large chestnut dining table in front of the huge arched patio doorway. Upstairs there is a large living room with comfy sofas, 16' ceiling under the original barn roof beams, and more great views.
The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, basin, toilet and electric towel rail.
All rooms have revealed original oak beams and traditional lime rendered and white-washed walls.

Kids Stuff
We travelled the length and breadth of France in search of a great place for us and our kids to live. On the way we stayed in many gites, good bad and indifferent, and made mental note of what we would do differently for our own guests, big and small. So, we offer you:
• Gently sloping stairs with closed steps.
•Forgiving softwood floors instead of hard stone tiles.
• Stair gates •Fully fenced-in garden
booster seats • baby bath • cots on request.
And lots more. We've been there, so just ask!
