Situated on the westernmost tip of Finistère, La Crèche de Penn al Lann Garo lies at the end of a private country lane, just five minutes drive from the unspoilt rugged coastline and quiet sandy beaches famous in this area of Brittany.
Sympathetically restored using local materials La Crèche sleeps up to six adults. The cottage has been stylishly finished reflecting both its Breton roots and close proximity to the sea. The main bedroom features an antique French double bed (brand new mattress) the sleeping loft has a gallery that overlooks the living area and is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a day bed. The children's room has a bunk bed and a cot-bed is available on request. The open plan lounge is light and airy with a wood-burning stove. The large kitchen/dining room includes dishwasher, gas hob/electric oven and microwave whilst the modern bathroom has a large shower and WC.
The gîte is equipped with a DVD player, video and English satellite TV and a music system. A variety of DVDs are provided as well as a range of games and activities for all weathers and ages. Outside is a large private garden with BBQ shelter and children’s play area and to the rear of the gite is a private boules area.
Known as Pays d'Iroise (Land of the Estuaries), the area suits all holiday makers; surfing, diving, sailing, horse riding, cycling, walking, bird-watching or simply building sandcastles and snoozing on the beautiful beaches. The cottage is ideally situated for visiting the islands of Ouessant, Molène and Sein or exploring the picturesque Abers (estuaries). The bustling medieval market town of St Renan is just five minutes drive away with its famous Saturday market.
