A warm welcome is waiting for you at La Minerie gite- a recent barn conversion on our 22 hectare farm offering you a self catering holiday home(gite)or an option with breakfast and/or evening meal if you prefer. The gite is spacious, light and comfortable with large family bedrooms and en-suite shower rooms, private garden and BBQs. All bed linen, towels and lots of extras are provided. Situated on the edge of Mont St Jean in the National Park of Normandie Maine with superb winding country roads and stunning views but only 40 kms from Le Mans with it’s world famous racing circuit.

Description
La Minerie is a gite created recently from an old barn on our 22 hectare farm. We live in the farmhouse with our two children. We also have a gang of friendly animals who love visitors.
The gite is situated on the outskirts of Mont Saint Jean, 10kms from Sille forest and beach in a tranquil agricultural environment, surrounded by rolling countryside. We are in the Sarthe region, just 40 kms from the world famous Le Mans. There are lots of activities in the surrounding area whether you are seeking adventure, an active or sporty holiday or a peaceful and relaxing time.
The gite is spacious and well equipped for you, your children and a break without worries. On arrival you will find a welcome basket with a large selection of teas, coffee, filters , sugar and milk.
He ground floor offers you a large open plan kitchen/dining room which is well equipped with American fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. We provide tea towels, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs, rubbish bags and cleaning products. There is a hi-fi with a selection of CDs.
Also on the ground floor is a large family bedroom which can sleep 4 ( either in 4 single beds or 1 superkingsize 180x200cms and 2 singles). This room has an en suite shower room with walk in shower, basin & wc. All bedlinen and towels are provided. There is also a ground floor cloakroom- wc & handbasin.
There is a mezzanine lounge with leather reclining sofas and a sofa bed for 2. There is a superb view of Mont St Jean and the forest. TV with freeview channels, DVD player and selection of DVDs including childrens and family films. You will also find a selection of board games and a toybox with toys appropriate to the ages of your children.
The second large family bedroom is on the first floor and also benefits from an en suite shower room with shower cubicle, basin & wc. This room sleeps 5 (in 5 single beds or 1 superkingsize and 3 singles).
The gite has a private garden with BBQ and al fresco dining. There is a playarea for the children (shared with our children) and a second outdoor eating area in the courtyard (shared with us). There is plenty of space to run, play and let off steam.
