In a pretty courtyard in the centre of La Gacilly is our character studio. Entering up an outside stairway, you enter a good sized living space with fitted corner kitchen and woodburner. Separate shower room and toilet. Very narrow spiral staircase leads to mezzanine with large double bedroom area. The studio is suitable for a couple only. (the studio may not be suitable for disabled persons due to the narrow staircase)
Character Holiday Studio with Mezzanine - Brittany, France - La Gacilly in Morbihan, Southern Brittany is a famous town of artists and flowers, as well as home to the bio cosmetics company, 'Yves Rocher'. Every year in the high season thousands of people visit this cultural centre to see the latest works of the many artisans and wander the flower lined streets, with a good selection of bars and restaurants.Every shop and space offers new and exciting creativity, painting, sculpture, glass blowing, soap making and many more weird and wonderful things.In summer 'Yves Rocher' invites you too tour their site to discover the secrets behind their products. Including 'Le Vegetarium' the first museum in Europe dedicated to the world of botanical gardens rich with thousands of species.
Also, each year the Breton village of La Gacilly is transformed into a true outdoor art gallery displaying over 400 large format photographs throughout the streets. The Photo Festival runs without interruption over four months and this years theme is'People & Nature' (International Year of Forests 2011).

For the period October to February the rental is 125€ per week or 425€ per month including all utilities Deposit £75 with booking and balance paid on arrival. Essential item food pack also available at additional 20€. Bedding is provided. Please bring your own towels.
