Description
The rural group cottage "Moulin de la Canne" (Cane mill) is originally a water mill, about 200 years old, where the farmers had their corn ground in earlier days. 'Moulin de la Canne ' is situated at the end of a lane (cul-de-sac) just outside the small village of Cersot, near the medieval town of Buxy, 12 miles from Chalon-sur-Saône, halfway between Dijon and Lyon. The factory chimney reminds us of the steam machine that drove the mill in times of drought. Across the bridge, on the other side of the river there is a sports field. You can swim and fish in the river in the part of the river that has been dredged to a depth of 7 feet; children can play in the shallow river Moulin de la Canne consists of four separate holiday homes: - 'Le Meunier': suitable for 9 / 11 people; 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - 'Le Moulin': suitable for 15 people; 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - 'L' Etable': suitable for 6 people; 3 small bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - La Laiterie: suitable for 16 people; 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
